The Calypso Orchids are blooming on the mountain and in the Columbia River Gorge. That means the morels can't be far behind!
Check out this huge, gorgeous Oyster mushroom I found with my Dad! So yummy sauteed with butter, garlic and wild nettles!
We found it growing on the side of a dying cottonwood tree in a wetland near my parents' house.
Hot damn, it was tasty!
I had a great time meeting customers and other makers last weekend.

Here's what was inside:

To smooth away the winter dryness
Tincture: Deep Immune Tonic
to banish colds and flu
Wild mushroom seasoning salt

It's so great to have such talented friends. I've been putting in lots of work getting everything ready to launch, and I couldn't have done it without the help of my beautiful tribe of artsy, brilliant loved ones. Thank you!
Saw this last night on N. Williams. Magic in the city.

A few of the star players:
Dark Side of the Moon, by Pink Floyd
Engravings, by Forest Swords
Fleetmac Wood, Vol II (a remix by a DJ collective focused on Fleetwood Mac. You'll especially love it if, like me, you're an epic Stevie Nicks fan)
The Moon Rang Like a Bell, by Hundred Waters. Here is a pic from their amazing show this summer at Mississippi Studios:
